Flowering Powder Puff - Large (Calliandra Hae****ccphala)

Native to Guyana, Mexico, Honduras and Brazil. Massive pink puffy blooms in spring and summer. New foliage appears brownish in color, turning darker green as they mature. The leaves fold up as the sun starts heading down. Can bloom year round if given southern sun. 7 years old 9"-10" tall 

Barbados Cherry (Small) (malpighia Pendiculata)

Native to St. Croix, Trinidad and Curacao. The name "Malpighia"is used to honor Marcello Malpighia (1628-1693). He was a distinguished naturalist in Bologna, Italy. The natural form of the Barbados Cherry is pendulous with weeping twigs and branches. The flowers are rose-pink, often several together in a cyme. Its fruit is small and edible. It has a weeping growth habit if the branches are allowed to elongate. The round edible fruits are borne singly or in 2s or 3s and are bright red with glossy skin. The fruit is very juicy and extremely high in ascorbic acid. Great indoor bonsai. 4 years old 5" tall 

Bougainvillea (bougainvillea glabra)

In 1768 Admiral Louis de Bougainville discovered the vine that bears his name. Through the ensuing years, this Brazillian Beauty has assumed its rightful place as one the most popular, spectacular and beautiful tropical plants. The vibrant purple and pink colors comes not from the small white tubular flowers, but from the three large paper-like bracts that surround each flower. Hence the name "paper flower". The Bougainvillea will typically lose some leaves for a short time during the winter due to lower lighting conditions. Under high lighting conditions, the colorful bracts will adorn the plant almost constantly and will persist for weeks. Great indoor bonsai. 7 years old. 12"-14" tall. 

Flowering Plum - Small (carissa macrocarpa)

The Natal Plum is a semi-tropical evergreen, bearing fragrant, star-shaped white flowers and, following pollination, dark red edible plum-shaped fruit. Easy indoor care. 4 years old. 6"-8" tall. 

Brush Cherry - Large (eugenia myrtifolia)

Also called Syzygium Paniculatum, Australian Brush Cherry. Has small handsome evergreen leaves which are firm and glossy and the flowers are puffy white. If it receives enough light, the leaves will develop red highlights. 7 years old. 12" tall. 

Snow Rose Serissa (serissa foetida)

Beautiful white, rose-shaped miniature flowers. This sub-tropical evergreen native to Japan, can bloom at any time. Blooms profusely with single or double white flowers. Small foliage. Excellent for beginners. Great indoor bonsai. 6 years old. 7" tall. 

Dwarf Pomegranate - Small (Punica Granatum (nana˜)

Sub-tropical deciduous tree grown for its brilliant orange-red trumpet-like flowers followed in fall by ornamental, small, spherical-like orange-red fruits. Has dark green leaves with shades of bronze. Slow to moderate grower. Full sun. 3 years old 9" - 11" tall 

Chinese Flowering White Serissa -Large Broom Style Tree of a Thousand Stars (Serissa Japonica)

Tree of a Thousand Stars. The Japonica has somewhat elongated spoon shaped shiny green leaves. It is a twiggy tree that grows tighter with shearing. This Northern Chinese Serissa has small white trumpet shaped blossoms and is trained into the traditional broom style with a full canopy. Easy indoor care. 12 years old. 7" - 10" tall 

Lantana (Lantana Camara)

Lantana is an evergreen with textured bark, rough, pointed, toothed and scented leaves. This tropical plant is native to the Caribbean region and is now naturalized in Florida. Flowers are white, 4-5 united, lobed petals to 1/4 inch across. Flowers in summer and fall. Attracts butterflies. Likes sun and both humid and dry heat. Fruit is drupe-like berry, clustered, fleshy and black to 1/2 inch diameter. Low indoor maintenance. 6 years old. 8" tall 

Flowering White Jasmine (trachelospermum jasminoides)

Summer flowering Jasmine from western and southern China. Has small leaves and produces white/yellow very fragrant blooms. With proper cultural conditions can remain in continuous bloom for months. Good for indoor sunny location on a windowsill or outdoors during spring, summer and fall 6 years old 12" - 16" tall. 

Korean Lilac (syringa palabiniana)

The Korean Lilac is a profuse spring bloomer. The tiny light purple flowers fade to white. Deciduous. Keep outdoors. 6 years old 14"-16" tall. 

Japanese Flowering Quince (chaenomles 'toyo-nishiki')

Anthurium - In Hawaiian Lava Rock "small talk" (anthurium andraeanum)
