Fertilizers and nutrients

To help your live plants grow in good health and to protect them from diseases, cold or extremely dry temperatures and tough winters, you need to feed them appropriate plant nutrients and fertilizers.  Each variety of tree, shrub and flower may require different fertilizer at different times.  When buying live plants, it's important to know what type of care they require and when and how often you should apply fertilizers and other nutrients.  Unusually wet, dry, hot or cold seasons could mean that your plants may need extra attention to survive.  Cover those that should be covered for winters to avoid a disappointing spring.  When you purchase a live plant from Nature Hills Nursery, each item is shipped with detailed instructions on care, storage, and planting.
