Bonsai Tree Seeds

Do you have a green thumb with house plants?  Then maybe starting from bonsai seeds is a good way to grow your own bonsai.  Remember that a bonsai tree is a miniature tree.  While most house plants need to be repotted in bigger pots as they grow, you need to contain your bonsai in small pots to confine the roots so that your bonsai doesn't grow too fast or too big.  A bonsai tree normally needs to be repotted every 3 to 5 years, but you should really inspect the roots every year.  If the roots form a circular ball around the perimeter of the pot, it is time to trim the roots and repot.
